Marshall- 5 1/2 years

My big boy, quickly establishing his seniority role.  Although a little bossy, this guy has sure stepped up to the plate with taking initiative and being Mom's little helper.  We also started Kindergarten this fall and because of his eagerness, we are still on track in lesson's, even with Kade's arrival.  He is a smart little cookie.  He loves babies so he has taken to caring for Kade.  Marshall is starting to enjoy the privileges that come with age by going on his first hunt with Daddy and doing a lot of work out in the shop helping him build things.  He loves building Lego, riding his bike and beating on his Dad.   We are moving into a new phase of life with this big boy and loving it!

Blue is his "favourite boy" and they have become inseperable.  For the record I have been notified that I am his favourite girl.

First day of Kindergarten gave us our first snow, but quickly disappeared.

Keaton- 3 1/2 years

Keaton; aka Skeeter bug/ Mr.personality.  What would we do without this ball of entertainment?  Sure things would certainly be a lot less hectic, quieter and a little less insane but what fun would that be?  Boy, this kid keeps us on our toes.  He has one volume... loud.  There are no "use your wispers" or "laugh quietly" and we love him! He is not interested in learning school stuff but is extremely creative and intuitive in so many other ways.  He loves to play Lego and construct space ships at the moment, he is always interested in a wrestle and anything that involves sports.  When asked what hero he is he will reply with a low, smoky voice "I am Batman!" and quickly run off to 'get the bad guys'.  He makes me laugh even on the bad days!

Jess- 22 Months

OH how this little man has recently come out of his shell.  Our snuggly, quietly sitting in a corner alone with a book, little boy has exploded with personality.  Until just recently he hasn't even shown an interest in speaking and although it needs some work, his vocabulary has also grown exponentially.  Another thing to grow?  His attitude, little dude is one stubborn little guy.  Aside from that, he still likes to get his cuddles in and enjoys whatever his brother's do.  He is especially Keaton's little shadow, goodness help us!

His sweet grin!

Kade Beckett Kennedy

Welcome to our 4th little man!!  Kade Beckett Kennedy was born on October 21st at 9:01 AM.  He weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and measure 20 1/2 inches.  The little guy is definitely plumper than the others, a champion eater and generally content little guy.  He is our earliest to smile at 12 days old and seems to resemble Jess in baby pictures the most.

Daddy say's I have monkey toes, they are very long!

I have big hands and long fingers, almost as long as Jess'!

A happy birthday party on January 1st!
Camo icing for his first birthday!

And we sang to Marshall and Keaton too because we
won't be with them at the time of their birthdays.

And we sang to Janessa too because I (Mom-Beccy)
would be in the hospital for her birthday on the 5th.

Keaton's 3 months old!

Keaton is growing up so fast, it seems as though he is no longer a "little" baby. He is a much bigger baby than Marshall was and is just over an inch away from Marshall's 9 month measurement! Keatons personality a lot of the time is less than desirable but when he is happy it is the cutest thing. Marshall was a lot more outgoing and loved to be around people where as Keaton takes a long time to warm up to people. Marshall was a difficult feeder and seemed to never eat where as Keaton is constantly wanting to eat (and eats tons in one feeding). They also look completely different, Marshall is a lot fairer (like a Knapp) where as Keaton seemed to pick up the darker Kennedy genes. It seems as though these boys are almost complete opposites but as you can see from the following picture they adore each other. Marshall likes to get in his face and say "hi Keaton, hi!", he is constantly giving Keaton kisses and cuggles :) As expected there are the moments where Marshall wants to launch himself off of Keatons stomach with one foot, or "tap" him a little harder than usual but we tend to catch on to that before it actually happens. Over all we are very grateful for his little life and wouldn't trade either of them for the world (even though Brent jokes that he wants to trade him in for a less fussy, quieter model :)

Marshall's 2!

Well its official, I have a 2 year old! Marshall is growing up so fast and has developed a wonderful little personality. He is THE typical boy, he loves being outside, trucks and wrestling with anyone who is willing. He is a loud extroverted young man and he will go to long lengths to be the center of the party. Marshall is full of love for his family (especially "Nessa and Jinane") and loves to give kisses and "cuggles". His favorite food is pizza and lasagna, assuming candy and cookies aren't on the menu :P At his vaccinations Marshall weighed in at almost 29 pounds, 33 1/2 inches tall and has a 49 cm head (all within the 50th percentile range).
