Reception

Some random pictures and video of the reception.

They gave a pair of these to all the children. Grey is trying his out.

Their guestbook was phenomenal. I think the best I have ever seen. It was a Creative Memories photo album, Kari used Mom's software and put it together. Gorgeous. I thought perhaps in the empty spaces (pages) they should write their favourite moments of their day, or some nice love quotes or bible verses or something. There's my idea, guys. LOVED it though. Love!

The "thank you" gift was a little pillow box full of jelly beans, and the program, which was I think 4 pages, tied together with the ribbon at the top.

The cake. Made by Kari's Aunt Pam. Beautiful, and the cake toppers really "took the cake", so to speak! Kari found a place online that would make you your very own bobble heads, to look just like you, based on your picture.

Here they are close up. Kari's is pretty dead on, looks wise. Logan's is close...but maybe it could be Davis? haha. What a cool idea!

Arriving at the church, I noticed there was no video camera set up. I only had my still picture camera with me, so I didn't have enough memory space to record it all the way through, but I wanted them to have some essential moments captured for viewing later. Please excuse the bumpy ride, I was trying to wrangle Grey and keep him quiet with the other hand. For all the family that couldn't make the trip, here is a glimpse into their special day!

Processional: I didn't have a good vantage point to capture Kari coming up the aisle, but I got Logan's face, watching her walk up. Piano played by Josh Irwin


They were married by Terry, Kari's brother in law. This is the vows part.

Marshall's 2!

Well its official, I have a 2 year old! Marshall is growing up so fast and has developed a wonderful little personality. He is THE typical boy, he loves being outside, trucks and wrestling with anyone who is willing. He is a loud extroverted young man and he will go to long lengths to be the center of the party. Marshall is full of love for his family (especially "Nessa and Jinane") and loves to give kisses and "cuggles". His favorite food is pizza and lasagna, assuming candy and cookies aren't on the menu :P At his vaccinations Marshall weighed in at almost 29 pounds, 33 1/2 inches tall and has a 49 cm head (all within the 50th percentile range).

Kayla - 2 months old!

Here are some more recent pictures of Kayla. She turned 2 months old today (8.5 weeks). She was at the Dr's on Monday and weighed 12 lbs even, was 23 1/4 inches long, and her head circumference is 38.5 cm. She is a very smiley and talkative baby, so much so that she distracts herself from eating! She is in love with her playmat and is quite good at hitting her toys and yelling at them already:-) She's been sleeping 5-6.5 hrs a night for a few weeks now, so aside from her extreme hatred for her carseat, we have no complaints!

Kenna: Benember when Janessa & Jillaine were here? They let me listen to this. It's their favourite song I think. I mean, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure.

She has a pretty good memory, right girls? :-)
