Davis' Babies:-)

Davis has a bit of exciting news! It's TWINS. And they are red! :-)

He bought a truck...it's used...

And he bought a car. It's a new (and gorgeous) Mustang.

He wanted to wait until his christening drive to Regina to show Jared & Liana before bragging about it. Jared was surprised and excited. Liana didn't notice the car, despite a variety of attempts to draw her attention to it. She was seemingly more impressed with Mom & Dad's new Acadia. Of course she was very impressed once she saw it!!

I am excited too...I know what I will be driving next time I am in town!

Who Else?

This morning around 7 I heard the kids talking to each other in their room as they woke up. Kenna came rushing in to me, "Mom, Mom! You know, Lemon (Lehman) and Maryn? And who else?" Janessa and Jillaine? I answered. "Yes!" and she went running off again to her brother. I have no idea what that was about, but it was pretty cute.

Maryn's Excitement

Well on Tues. at breakfast time Maryn complained of stomach ache but ate a little something and not another complaint from her all day. She was active and totally normal. At supper, she all of a sudden had bad stomach pain, didn’t want to eat etc. and in no time at all was throwing up. I thought OK here we go with the flu and I wonder how many will catch it. She continued to be sick all evening and through out the night. Not much sleep for us. By about 4 I was suspecting appendix and by 7:30 I was pretty sure. So we loaded her up complete with a barf bucket, dropped Logan off at his piano lesson at 8:15 and stopped in at the Doctor’s office. We were seen immediately. I think the look of a child with a bucket in tow speeds up the process :-) The doctor’s examined her and looked at me, smiled, winked and said yep! He phoned the hospital letting them know we were on our way and told us which surgeon to ask for when we arrived. They did her blood work and she was certainly displaying all symptoms. Off to the OR. I told her she will never forget April Fool’s Day again! Anyhow we got home this evening and she is doing quite well. Walking delicately and we hope her pain meds hold her. They had to do a full incision because she was too tiny to do the laproscopy procedure. So 3 out of 11….must be genetic? :-)
