Marshall- 4 1/2

Marshall has grown up so much in the last few months.  He is recognizing the responsibility of being a big brother and takes this job very seriously.  He is very aware of danger's surrounding his little brother's and is quick to redirect them away from them.  In light of this he is getting very wise in his own eye's and feels it is his responsibility to boss them around .  Having said that, we are very appreciative of this little guy. He started Awana this fall and is a quick memorizer and it seems if he has memorized something, it sticks in his little head.  He is learning to write and loves reading.  We are starting small number addition and is quite fluent in his shapes and colours. He has a definite attention to detail and it is almost a little obsessive.  He is also beyond obsessive over anything that is technological including (and especially) the Wii, his learning tablet and any kinds of phones.  He is even more advanced than Brent in those kinds of things, often changing the language on his phone (when he isn't looking) and gladly changing it back from Chinese to English.  This is a problem in terms of getting him to talk about anything else but is also a good learning tool as he has learned many things including water being H2O and the processes of condensation and evaporation, problem solving, life cycles and practice of simple addition.  Such an intuitive little guy.  He has a terrible attitude and show's it in so many different ways.  He is also sneaky, currently losing the privilege of his tablet and the Wii for sneaking them into his bed and playing them at 5:00 in the morning.  Marshall love's babies and is forever asking me to "put one in my tummy so you (I) can go to the doctor and bring it home" (not pregnant ;) ).  All babies should be named either Mac, Ava or Jesser.  He is growing up so fast and it is hard to believe he will have blessed us with 5 whole years soon.

He couldn't wait long enough to put on a shirt before putting on his vest.

Celebrating our future birthday's while with the family in Regina

Keaton- 2 1/2

A bundle of energy and man of many injuries.  Keaton is in one word full of character.  The most Kennedy by far out of the boys in terms of features and (from what I hear) mischief.  When calling the doctor for the second time in the week, he immediately recognized the name and said "was he climbing again?".  Yepp, that describes our busy boy!  As crazy as it is to have such a nuts little guy, he makes us giggle every day because he is so full of excitement.  He is a big talker and copy-cat and although he is an energy packed little guy, he loves to stop and give you a quick hug and kiss.  While running away, he will say a distant "I lul you" on his way to his next venture.  He loves playing with his fort, cars and especially lego's.  He is extremely creative with taking apart and putting back together lego and Playmobil.  Much like his father, he learns by hands on and playing games.  He doesn't have interest in sitting down and learning things but knows how to count simply by "doing it".  I have yet to find an effective way of teaching him how to recognize letters, that he will sit still long enough to learn but he is definitely intelligent (I think he learns more from me teaching Marshall and picking up on things that way).  Keaton also likes terrorizing Marshall and will always look for a way to get him into trouble but will eagerly take on a big brother role when taking care of Jesser.

BEST buddies and WORST enemies <3 p="">

Jess- 13 months

What more can we say about Jess than just sweet.  His personality and disposition just captures everyone's heart.  He seems to be a boy of very few words but with a "taking it all in" look on his face. When he does speak,  he can say mama, Dada, dog and cracker.  His natural countenance is a happy grin and it takes a lot to get a good smile or a big frown out of him.  He is very cuddly and will sit and snuggle for what seems like forever compared to the other boys.  He has an independent attitude about him, he likes to eat on his own and is very content to entertain himself for hours on end.  His independence also makes for a recent change in interaction- temper.  When he gets to a certain point, he will get quite angry and whiny.  Over all he is adored for his big blue eyes, sweet smile and amazing personality.

Winter Olympics Fantasy Pool

The family in Regina has decided to have a little fun with the winter olympics by having a fantasy contest.

The rules were so simple even mom could play!

The main 30 participating nations were divided into 6 groups and each person could select one country from each group.

Then sit back and cheer on your nations and watch the medals roll in.

The points are based on 3 for a gold, 2 for silver and 1 for bronze.

Standings will update daily (hopefully) on the left hand side bar.

Behold the prize!

Let the games begin.....

Apologies to family members out of province (country). This was thrown together rather hastily.
