A Heritage
Here is a picture taken this fall of Sherrie Baker and Maryn. They are the eldest and youngest of Harold and Mary Kennedy's 26 grandchildren. There are 46 great-grandchildren now! And no doubt many more to come! ;)

Newfoundland
I, Lehman, went to Newfoundland for the Tuckamore Music Festival this past August.

The Brigus Harbour: the site in which I saw a whale breach the water! |
And of course, the whole reason I was there in the first place, music. |
Doggie Memory Lane
I happened across this online and it brought back so many memories of the Kennedy Kids and dogs. Library books, charts, magazines were daily reading and discussion. Perhaps the Kennedy Klan GrandKids will have fun with this as the Kennedy Kids walk down their memory lane.
These were the childhood favorites:
Darla ~ Newfoundland |
Brent ~ German Shorthaired Pointer |
Jared ~ Great Dane |
Lauryn ~ Great Pyrenese |
Davis couldn't make up his mind but his heart flipped out for this Australian Shepherd stating if we could adopt her he would pay for all her food and vet bills. Tennisyn aka Tess was an amazing dog. |
Logan ~ Rhodesian Ridgeback |
And Kaden kept changing his mind - Newf, Golden Retriever and Australian cattle dog! And he ended up getting a Red Bone Coon Hound, reminiscent of childhood reading Where the Red Fern Grows. |
Janessa ~ Bernese Mountain Dog |
Jillaine ~ Golden Retriever (but only the ones out of the Scottish breed lines) |
Lehman ~ Beagle |
Maryn- Australian Cattledog aka Red Heeler |
As a teen, Lauryn bought a Coton deTulear and had one litter of pups with Vashti. Vanna was one of the pups that she kept. |
And this is what we bred and had for pets! Cairn Terriers They were the best - Taryn, Kirby, Reba & Lacey! You gave us great memories! |

Marshall- 5 1/2 years
My big boy, quickly establishing his seniority role. Although a little bossy, this guy has sure stepped up to the plate with taking initiative and being Mom's little helper. We also started Kindergarten this fall and because of his eagerness, we are still on track in lesson's, even with Kade's arrival. He is a smart little cookie. He loves babies so he has taken to caring for Kade. Marshall is starting to enjoy the privileges that come with age by going on his first hunt with Daddy and doing a lot of work out in the shop helping him build things. He loves building Lego, riding his bike and beating on his Dad. We are moving into a new phase of life with this big boy and loving it!

Blue is his "favourite boy" and they have become inseperable. For the record I have been notified that I am his favourite girl.
First day of Kindergarten gave us our first snow, but quickly disappeared.

Keaton- 3 1/2 years
Keaton; aka Skeeter bug/ Mr.personality. What would we do without this ball of entertainment? Sure things would certainly be a lot less hectic, quieter and a little less insane but what fun would that be? Boy, this kid keeps us on our toes. He has one volume... loud. There are no "use your wispers" or "laugh quietly" and we love him! He is not interested in learning school stuff but is extremely creative and intuitive in so many other ways. He loves to play Lego and construct space ships at the moment, he is always interested in a wrestle and anything that involves sports. When asked what hero he is he will reply with a low, smoky voice "I am Batman!" and quickly run off to 'get the bad guys'. He makes me laugh even on the bad days!

Jess- 22 Months
OH how this little man has recently come out of his shell. Our snuggly, quietly sitting in a corner alone with a book, little boy has exploded with personality. Until just recently he hasn't even shown an interest in speaking and although it needs some work, his vocabulary has also grown exponentially. Another thing to grow? His attitude, little dude is one stubborn little guy. Aside from that, he still likes to get his cuddles in and enjoys whatever his brother's do. He is especially Keaton's little shadow, goodness help us!
His sweet grin!
Angry Birds fanatic!

Proud to be a big brother but jealous of not being the baby
