Here are some more recent pictures of Kayla. She turned 2 months old today (8.5 weeks). She was at the Dr's on Monday and weighed 12 lbs even, was 23 1/4 inches long, and her head circumference is 38.5 cm. She is a very smiley and talkative baby, so much so that she distracts herself from eating! She is in love with her playmat and is quite good at hitting her toys and yelling at them already:-) She's been sleeping 5-6.5 hrs a night for a few weeks now, so aside from her extreme hatred for her carseat, we have no complaints!

what a cute-heart. She has a great smile! I can't get over how different she looks from Mattea...she seems smaller too, right? She's a combo of you both, I almost can't even separate it. Love the updates!! We need to see some sister pics next! (together in the same pic I mean:-)
She is smaller than Mattea but not by much! She is 1 cm shorter than Mattea at the same age but 9 ounces lighter, so she definitely more slender than Mattea. However, considering that she was born 14 ounces lighter...I'd say she's catching up! Her looks are definitely a combination! She looks quite a bit like Mark again (but in a different way than Mattea does). She has my shape of head though(more oval as opposed to round) and I think she may have my eyes too and her hair is definitely more fair than Mattea's. So yes...it's hard to separate! She is certainly a mixture, it will be interesting to see how she changes!
