Testing the Heights

Liana was coming over to edge the walls in our hall and staircase, so Dad set up a ladder leaning on the wall and pressed up against the stairs. He wanted us to test it out........

Lehman got a little scared.

Dad wasn't nervous at all.

Jillaine didn't go because she has a crippling fear of heights.
I did go up, but we didn't get a picture.

I would not have done that. Props to Liana, that is some crazy "scaffolding" to stand precariously on.

Hmmmm looks like the "crippling fear of heights" runs in the family! Mind you I would add a qualifier to my fear...I have a crippling fear of UNSTABLE heights! There is NO way I would get up there!!! I should post a picture of the ladder Mark's uncle built in order to hang our 50 lb pendant chandelier above our staircase (in our foyer with over 20 ceilings!!!). He told me I had to go up to put the lightbulbs in!!! Thank goodness he didn't enforce that otherwise we would have had a pretty light, without bulbs!!!

Lol, Lauryn, I'm with you. Post a pic! There is NO way I do stuff like that. We call it Daddy's job. If he doesn't do it, then it will not get done, I refuse. I get very squeamish over stuff like that, like standing on a ladder and then reaching out. Yah. I can't. although, wasn't I the one who would never "touch the ceiling" over Dad's head as a little kid, so I guess that is no surprise:-)
